Welcome to Harris Rainham Sixth Form. It is a privilege to lead a sixth form that is firmly established as a centre of ambition, aspiration and academic excellence for young people in Rainham and the surrounding areas.

For too long, students in Rainham had to travel significant distances to access high-quality post-16 education. At Harris Rainham Sixth Form, this is no longer the case. Our students benefit from an exceptional local provision that enables them to progress confidently to leading universities, competitive apprenticeships and fulfilling employment pathways. Our mission is to ensure every student develops the knowledge, skills and character needed to flourish in the modern world. We are proud to offer a broad and challenging curriculum within a setting that is large enough to provide wide-ranging opportunities, yet small enough for every student to be known, supported and guided as an individual. Alongside academic study, students enrich their experience through our electives programme, societies, and competitive guilds, developing leadership, resilience and a strong understanding of the world around them.

High-quality teaching sits at the heart of everything we do. Our passionate subject specialists challenge students through clear explanations, rigorous questioning and our Prep, Learn, Practise approach to independent study, ensuring students are well prepared for the demands of higher education and beyond.

As part of the Harris Federation, we work closely with Harris Academy Rainham and other Harris Sixth Forms to offer exceptional opportunities, including Oxbridge mentoring, the Harris Experience Advanced programme, and a wide range of extracurricular and sporting activities. Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art sixth form building provides an outstanding environment in which students can learn, collaborate and succeed.
